Great location in the forest, halfway to the ski jump 🌲. the breakfast has a good variety of bread and meats. We've stayed here before and would come back again.

The location on the hills in Lillehammer was marvellous and stunning for us. The best thing was how very pleasant the staff were.

The room was functional and modern, offered central heating and television. The view of the garden was magnificent! Good and magnificent location in all areas including rooms, met requirements. Moreover, it was near the Peppes Pizza, Hafjell and trains.
Nothing negative to say!

Sauna for guests, overall excellent service. Appetising slices of fresh bread and meats in the morning. Great and stunning location for our visit to Olympic Flame Tower at a medium distance from the hotel.

Awesome location! It's really close to the town center, the ski jump, and Maihaugen museum. Plus, it's right by Mesna, so you have everything you need within easy reach! 🏞️

Everything's amazingly good. We stayed in a wooden house type Hyta 6 people (marriage and 4 children of 14, 15, 21 and 22) in the house 601, three bedrooms one with double bed and other two with bunk beds, two bathrooms complete with showers and windows perfect clean, new, shower, soap, paper, etc. huge living room, with a giant sofa bed (which we don't need to take out), huge plasma TV with lots of channels (you could link your Iphone and watch Amazon Prime or any movie you can watch on your mobile), wifi was perfect, my kids with their tablets and phone connected and downloaded what they wanted. super comfortable beds, they leave the bedding and individual towels for you to make and they don't make them, although it's not a problem. heating works great (we went in spring but it was 1 degree out). Dining table with 8 chairs perfect. Perfect electric coffee maker and free capsules, full kitchen with breakfast bar, dishwasher and washing machine, complete kitchenware (cutlery, glasses, dishes, pans, pots, etc), big fridge. magnificent balcony that surrounds the whole house with views of the mountains. In this balcony-terrace there are 6 chairs and a garden table in case you want to have a barbecue. It fits perfectly the 6 for dinner, sunbathing in the afternoon or a beer. You should leave your shoes and boots outside. It is located at the top of Lillehammer next to the olympic jump. From there on foot there are many hiking and cross-country skiing routes if you have them and there is snow. Otherwise, close by at 12 km is Nordseter where you can rent everything for cross-country skiing, sledging, etc. To go to Lillehammer we used the car but you can walk about 15-20m to the center although they are slopes. There are two saunas included in the service, one for men and one for women, although by booking it you can use a mixed one (we went with the family). saunas have 8 places. breakfast buffet is very good. Everything OK
Nothing wrong all perfect

The young lady at the reception really had a happy disposition, and the dining table and the fridge right at the room's entrance certainly helped to make us feel at home. Having known Birkebeineren as a youth hostel, I enjoyed the old pictures on the walls. Great breakfast!
Nothing serious, but the bed was a bit too soft. And it would be nicer if, at unfolding the sofa, the bed would be ready for the kids. (We got there pretty late and tired).

The room was awesome, had an okay TV, and you could even see the ski jumps from there. 🏔️ The breakfast was exceptionally good, with yummy bread and tasty meats. Plus, it's super convenient being close to the Lygardsbakkene Ski Jump Chairlift.

Clean apartment, Nice view, Not too far from center.
Wi-Fi connection was not working at all, even after complaining to the front desk. Walking with your suitcases from the Lillehammer train station in the snow and ice up to the 'mountainy' area where the apartment is situated was not so comfortable. They could have mentioned it on the website.

Large room with plenty of space for luggage, clean, easy to carry luggage in and out. The hotel was built with prefabricated modules to be used during the Winter Olympic games in 1994.
The guestbed for the kids was in a poor shape, and the staff did not compensate for the fact that our 16 year old son did not sleep much the night we stayed there. We hope that the hotel will fix the guestbed, and that future customers will be able to sleep better.. The receptionist told us that they had ordered new mattresses, but we told them that it was the bed itself it was something wrong with. The breakfast buffet is not impressive, but fair enough.

This place is conveniently located close to the mountains, covered in snow, and near the Olympic museum, making it a comfortable and perfect spot.

The Birkebeineren is a complex which was used for accommodation for Olympic athletes. The room was really a suite with two rooms which included a pull out to make an extra bed if needed. We had a fridge, two TVs and nice bathroom facilities. The breakfast was very good and parking was free and near by. The staff were great ambassadors for Norway.
The only negative aspect of the stay was that we had some difficulty finding the hotel and Lillehammer is hard to get around in. Parking is expensive in town.
